Code 130613 is a fanzine dedicated to celebrating the boys in a cyberpunk world.To put it simply, cyberpunk is both a culture and a genre. It features a new world that is futuristic and dystopian, overrun by technology.It showcases two sides of the story - the elite rich, mega conglomerates, and uber consumerism combined with a dark and thriving underworld featuring illicit trade, gangs, crime, and vices. Humans, androids, and hybrids co-exist peacefully and thrive within the digital age, driven to survive in an increasingly unpredictable world.

This zine is for-profit! Everything we earn will be distributed evenly amongst our contributors and mods. We will also be offering the option for our contributors to donate their share of the profits to charity. We would also be donating the profit shares of our contributors below the age of 18 as we cannot legally pay them for their services. The charity mentioned will be decided upon and revealed at a later date.✭ Will collaborations be allowed?
Of course! Collaborations are welcome although they must be within the same section and within the selected list of contributors for the zine.✭ Will contributors receive a free copy of the zine?
We definitely aim to provide all our contributors with a full bundle! If we do not meet projections to sustain this, profits will still be evenly divided amongst the contributors and everyone will receive at the very least a free digital copy.✭ What are the zine specs?
This zine is currently planned to be A5 sized, perfect bound!✭ Will those under the age of 18 be allowed to apply?
Yes, of course! Please understand that if you are under the age of 18 by the time it's time to distribute shares of the profit, your share will automatically be given to charity due to the fact that we are unable to pay minors for their services!✭ How do I apply?

This zine will mostly follow an open-prompt theme and we encourage our contributors to explore a range of ideas within the realm and universe of their allocated section!This zine will feature 4 sections, each of which will focus on a different sub-genre of cyberpunk and tell a different story.You can click on the image for each phase to be redirected to their respective inspiration boards._

Phase 1 : GenesisThis section will feature stories and art with the boys in a cyberpunk world set in the past. The premise is to be the dawn of cyberpunk, where everything started. Multiple interpretations can be made for this, all of which will feature an element of past culture fused with the magic of cyberpunk.Pop Culture References: The Golden Compass, Hugo, Castle in the Sky, Van Helsing and Howl’s moving castle.

Phase 2 : ArmageddonThis section will feature stories and art that place the boys in a dystopian world, overrun by technology, almost in anarchy. This would feature the illicit underworld aspect of the genre but will only have minor violence.Pop Culture References: Akira, Mad Max, Cowboy Bebop, Cyberpunk 2077.

Phase 3 : UtopiaThis section will feature stories and art that tell the story of a settled universe, where the world has fallen into the omnipresent use of technology. This would include high consumerism, technology, humans, androids, and hybrids coexisting peacefully with functioning lives.Pop Culture References: Blade Runner, Psycho Pass, Ghost in the Shell, 2064: Read Only Memories, Detective Pikachu

Phase 4 : OdysseyThis section will feature stories and art that narrate conquests and expansions - to new planets, worlds, and realms.
